Feeding The Fish!

Voila! My latest piece, & believe me it took me a while to complete! I must say it cheers us up on our living room wall. Everyone who has seen it so far has been completely riveted by it's almost mosaic pattern of fish. I have been influenced a good deal by Moroccan patterns. I am also in love with characters throwing things in the air, it's my way of capturing moments of utter glee.

  3. Hey there! I found your blog through a bunch of links from our mutual friends' blogs, and linked to you on mine. I LOVE your work. Reminds me of growing up in Congo, or any place where there actually is color, light and flavor in every day life.

  5. I'm in love with you, Shirin. You can move in (and help me move) as long as you show up with this painting. Your work is so beautiful. How did you avoid a fatal fish crash?
