Missing Mama

Thinking of my mama these past few days as the anniversary of her passing was yesterday, & because, well, you never really forget your mama, even during the mundane routines. It was just like her to leave on a beautiful Spring day like this. It seems like the good ones always go too young. This is a small reminder to cherish your mama, be kind to her even through trying times & let her know how eternally precious she is to you...Thank you mama for continuing to sprinkle your pixie dust on us from other realms! Here is a photo of us two traveling in India.

  3. Hi Limonana
I was really touched by this post — my mama made an unexpected exit about 3 months ago; your words ring so true. PS I like your blog, have been following you (quietly) for some time now!

  4. Was just thinking of your mother (and mine) this past weekend while sitting by the waters of the North Shore. The pain never really goes away, does it? That dull ache, or sometimes a good punch in the gut when you go to pick up the phone and realize she will not answer. God does help heal the wounds though, or at least provide some very magical band-aids. It's pictures like the one you posted of you and your mamma that bring peace and joy, and the knowledge that she REALLY is looking out for you and paving the way for a bright future. Much love to you, dear sister.
