Stormy weather is not enough to stop this adoring pair from meeting under the cover of night, as delicate blossoms sway in the wind. Inspired by Mughal empire miniatures with their precious jewel-like detailing. The emerald ground melts into a deep turquoise, covered in fine golden foliage that illuminates as it catches the light. This painting is 31.5" in diameter, & is available FOR SALE. SOLD

Chickaboom Afternoon (& some words of gratitude)
I don't often take the time to thank you, my dear readers, patrons & clients for all that you do in supporting my work. When you have shared, followed or bought my paintings, you are not only doing those actions, but you have allowed this dreamer to dream, to create, to continue doing what I adore doing the most. For this, I send you oceans of gratitude! Now a little bit about this painting:
Lounging around on a lovely mediterranean summer's afternoon, these two have a lot to catch up on! With the sky above an opalescent blend of soft blues, pinks & yellows, their laughter mingles with the gentle swaying of a sea of foliage. This painting measures 30" x 30" & is available FOR SALE. All inquiries are welcome at shirinsahba @gmail.com.

Her Mind Runs Wild as Horses
This is a painting I've been wanting to paint for a long time; the kind of imagery that lingers in my dreams. A multitude of wild horses sweep through a meadow, accompanied by a few elegant warrior equestrians in all their elegant royal attire. Each horse is unique & with it's own personality, based on various Mughal Empire paintings I've studied over the years. I've always been riveted by miniatures of horsemen galloping, trotting & tumbling through fields, battles & elaborate royal processions. This painting measures 30" x 30" & available for sale SOLD.
