Lounging around on a lovely mediterranean summer's afternoon, these two have a lot to catch up on! With the sky above an opalescent blend of soft blues, pinks & yellows, their laughter mingles with the gentle swaying of a sea of foliage. This painting measures 30" x 30" & is available FOR SALE. A Saffron Summer

​Her robin's egg blue sari is flying in the wind as she rides alongside her companion. Their wheels carry them through fields bursting with the fragrance of summer, hues of saffron, and a million delicate blossoms reminiscent of antique Chinese carpets.

A Boat to Bali

In search of bright new adventure...These two are drifting through waters rich & teeming with glimmering, multi-coloured fish, coral, starfish & eels...On my travels through Bali & it's beautiful surrounding islands, I was very taken by the traditional art of batik, with all of it's intricate, vivid patterns & motifs.

Bali Holiday

 Sorry for the silence over here on the blog. We've been exploring in & around Bali, for the cold month of February, & now I've returned to the studio & back in the swing of things. It was something of a dream to go to a place where so many talented artists reside & so much beauty exists...

Her Mind Runs Wild as Horses

This is a painting I've been wanting to paint for a long time; the kind of imagery that lingers in my dreams. A multitude of wild horses sweep through a meadow, accompanied by a few elegant warrior equestrians in all their elegant royal attire. Each horse is unique & with it's own personality, based on various Mughal Empire paintings I've studied over the years. I've always been riveted by miniatures of horsemen galloping, trotting & tumbling through fields, battles & elaborate ​royal processions.  This painting measures 30" x 30" & available for sale SOLD.

Orange Tree & Bluebirds

 A feeling I remember so well of childhood in the Mediterranean: savoring a precious moment to smell the sweet fragrance of an orange, & then suddenly....Why hello little birds!
