of russian spy cameras




As long as I can remember I have always wanted to live in a different era. Perhaps during the heyday of Federico Fellini's career, like a misplaced character from one of his films, leading a very 8 1/2 life. In that spirit, I have been experimenting of late with a Holga camera given to me & my husband by one incredibly talented photographer. Or as I like to call it, my Russian Spy Camera. I adore the timeless & antiquated quality of the photos...

  6. i so covet a holga right now! your photos are really lovely, very much a timeless feel to them. i got all excited to see who this talented photographer was, and then of course, ryan lash! will you be posting more holga shots? sure hope so. maybe some cute vintage ones from victoria? i saw an old vintage bmw last night and thought of you and amy and how you'd like to take photos with it. cheerio!

  10. my first roll was just pulled out of my holga yesterday. i'm afraid to print the film because i think i didn't wind the camera correctly.

    anyway, have fun with your spy camera! i love that, hehe.
