The Fruit Seller


This is a custom painting I did for a client who has a real love for India & all it's beauty. I've recently been using an increasingly complex array of colours, which I find challenging but rewarding... You can't tell from the photos but the flowers are surrounded by solid gold which illuminates quite well with any light. In the end I felt the gold gave it almost an echo of ancient Tibetan art.

    A beautiful work, and I like how you describe the gold detailing. As always, your use of both colour and pattern is inspiring, and each piece seems to have its own rhythm.
