The Outing
The Maharani is being carried in her intricate Palki. Of course this is because she didn't want to soil her sari! The tones of emerald are inspired by Jaipur's beautiful architecture. A friend told me that a movie called The Fall, reminded him of my paintings, so of course I had to see it, & it was stunning. This particular Jaipur doorway used in the film reminds me of this painting:
