Journey to Town


Lavender skies & marigold fields make for an unexpected combination. These two sisters are making their way into town with copper pots on their head to carry their wares.
I'm back from our trip (I will share some photos soon), feeling well-fed, inspired & ready to paint!

    If I had to choose between an endless supply of cadbury eggs or this painting.....I'd choose this painting. Yes, I'm feeling particularly poetic this evening.
